Twenty years in, and still just getting started. This past weekend we celebrated GoJet’s 20th anniversary with teammates and families, swapping stories and revisiting the moments that made us, us. As our President and CEO, Rick Leach, shared, “celebrating GoJet Airlines’ 20th anniversary alongside so many of you and your families” was a privilege and “a powerful reminder of the incredible community that makes up the GoJet family.”
Rick thanked every employee for the dedication that brought us to this milestone, calling our 20th “an exciting milestone” made possible by “the tireless dedication, teamwork, and commitment of each of you.”
Big appreciation to the volunteers who went the extra mile to set up and break down the celebration: Jaimie Rivera, Mary Gonzales, Mona Everett, Bakula Patel, Christina Gonzales, Jasmine Rivera, Nick Cobb, Tony Burgess, pilots Wenchao Wu, Alex Schmidt, Micah Swislow, and flight attendants Emilee Howlett, Leah Otto, Yessenia Morales, Delia Fernandez, Felicia Johnson, Nicole Rojas Martinez, Te’Keyonda Smith, Akie Okumura, Qi Yuan, and Jean Buddacharoen. Your willingness to jump in on the spot is the GoJet spirit in action.
With the celebration wrapped, we’re rolling right into Employee Appreciation Week, a time “dedicated to recognizing you, the people who make our airline what it is.” Join in, take part in the activities, and take a moment to feel proud of the work you do every day.
Thank you for everything you’ve built, whether you’re on the line or behind the scenes. As Rick closed, “here’s to celebrating you not only this week, but every day.” Take care of yourselves and each other.
