GoJet Airlines will attend Shelbyville Aviation Day on April 25 from 10...

Those selected for employment must successfully complete a paid training program at our Flight Attendant Training Center in Saint Louis, MO, as well as a hands-on evaluation in the aircraft. Training is approximately six weeks in length.

New Hire Training

Minimum Requirements:

Age & Residency

At least 19 years of age
Live within one and a half hours of your assigned base

Education

Possess a high school diploma or GED equivalent

Documentation

Identification: Driver’s License, Social Security Card, Passport.
All information on the listed documents must be uniform. If you have your middle name on your driver’s license, it must be on your Social Security Card and your Passport.
ALL DOCUMENTS MUST BE THE SAME.

Language & Communication Skills

Proficient in reading, writing, and speaking English fluently
Strong communication skills, interpersonal abilities, and a welcoming attitude towards all customers
Skilled in managing difficult situations, effective problem-solving, and handling complaints

Appearance & Professional Standards

Maintain a professional appearance

Free from visible tattoos
No facial or multiple upper-ear piercings
No extreme hair colors or styles

Physical & Safety Requirements

Height between 4’11” and 6’0”
Able to navigate comfortably down the aircraft aisle facing forward
Able to quickly move through the over-wing exit
Able to occupy the Flight Attendant jump seat without the need for seatbelt extension modifications

Work Conditions & Training

Willing to work in various climates and locations across the country
Adaptable to variable shift patterns
If selected, ready to participate in 6 weeks of training at our Headquarters in Saint Louis, MO
