St. Louis, Missouri – GoJet Airlines is proud to announce that it has been awarded a prestigious Onboard Hospitality Award in the leading Cabin Concept of the Year 2025 category for its innovative CRJ-550 aircraft. The award was presented at the World Travel Catering & Onboard Services Expo (WTCE) in Hamburg, Germany, on April 8, 2025.
The Onboard Hospitality Awards celebrate global excellence in airline hospitality, with the Cabin Concept category recognizing complete onboard experiences that raise the bar in design, comfort, innovation, and passenger satisfaction. This year’s awards featured nearly 200 entries in varying categories, including leading global carriers such as American Airlines, JetBlue, Emirates, British Airways, and Qatar Airways. Finalists in the Cabin Concepts category alongside GoJet Airlines included industry heavyweights like Iberia, United Airlines, Royal Air Maroc, and Ethiopian Airlines.
GoJet Airlines was the only regional carrier recognized and nominated across all categories, competing alongside some of the most iconic names in domestic and international aviation.
The CRJ-550 is the world’s first 50-seat regional aircraft to offer true first-class seating and a range of amenities, creating a premium customer experience throughout. The cabin features 10 seats in United First, 20 seats in Economy Plus, and 20 Economy seats, providing more overall legroom per seat than any other 50-seat aircraft flown by a U.S. airline.
Additionally, the CRJ-550 offers an on-demand refreshment center for United First customers and one-of-a-kind luggage monuments for every passenger to bring a roller bag on board.
GoJet Airlines was the architect of the CRJ-550 design, leading its certification and development in early 2019 with a clear objective: to deliver a premium experience to United’s customers. The aircraft was launched into service later that year, setting a new standard in regional aviation and across the industry.
