Today, through our Wings of Excellence program, we are proud to celebrate Jacob “Jake” Lovett, Manager of our St. Louis (STL) hangar, for his incredible leadership, dedication, and the positive impact he brings to our airline every day.
When unforeseen circumstances required new leadership at the STL hangar, Jake didn’t hesitate to step up. What could have been a challenging transition became a seamless success under his guidance. Jake’s adaptability and calm approach earned him the respect of his colleagues.

- Supporting Road Trips: Always willing to assist teams on the road, ensuring smooth operations no matter the location.
- Enhancing Recruitment Efforts: Jake actively participates in interviews, helping to recruit top talent into the GoJet family.
- Collaborating with the FAA: His involvement with the Federal Aviation Administration highlights our commitment to safety and compliance.
- Managing a Large Team: Overseeing more than 100 maintenance technicians, Jake ensures that day-to-day operations are executed seamlessly.
“He treats everyone with dignity and respect,” shared one of his colleagues. “If I ever need anything, I know I can call him, and he’ll either help or find someone who can.”
Despite his many achievements, Jake remains one of the most humble and approachable leaders in our organization. His down-to-earth demeanor and willingness to jump in wherever needed have made him a beloved figure among his peers.
